Why We Chose HubSpot: A Transparent Review and Partnership
I strongly believe in the principle of using your products. Before I suggest anything to a customer, I must have complete confidence in it and be actively using the product ourselves. So when Hubspot approached us about a partnership, I agreed, but only on the condition that it wouldn't involve any sales targets. I would only endorse the product if I genuinely believed it would benefit the customer. Initially, I didn't publicize the partnership as I familiarized myself with the system and used it extensively.
Although I strongly advocate using OpenSource software whenever possible, I have used Hubspot for several months. There are a few reasons: firstly, it functions effectively from the free version to the starter plan. Secondly, while I could find an OpenSource alternative, the integrations with other platforms were not as seamless as I would have preferred. Lastly, sometimes, the small fee required for the service is worth avoiding the time lost in trying to install and maintain an OpenSource solution. Therefore, in this instance, I chose to use Hubspot as my CRM system.
